Brown Rice Varieties

Forbidden Rice – Black rice, nutty, antioxidant rich.

Koshihikari- Premium Sushi rice, medium grain, chewy.  Also a favorite for buddha bowls and with stir fries

LaGrue – Long grain, tender, Louisiana native excellent for under stews and sauces. 

Sahbhagi – East Indian, medium grain, earthy undertones.  Great with curries & dahl. COMING SOON!

Sierra – Long Grain, tender, aromatic basmati-like variety; wonderful for biryani 

Brown Rice Grits –  Heavenly with coconut oil, delicious sweet or savory; can also be used for polenta

Broken Rice-  Traditionally used as a delicacy in Southeast Asian cooking, tender & succulent.  Easily absorbs flavor.  Also great as a hot morning cereal
